Welcome to our temporary home!
We want to welcome everyone to our temporary home for the next 8 months. Things will be a little different and we will have to work through some kinks the first couple of weeks, but together with patience and love, we will make this work. Please let staff know of any concerns or issues you have so we can get them corrected and make our temporary home a welcoming environment. The address is 190 Raughley Hill Road, Harrington DE 19952. Our phone number will remain 302-398-4224 and our mailing address will remain 102 Fleming Street Harrington DE 19952. We are very grateful that St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church is welcoming us into their facility during our construction.
Welcome to the Harrington Senior Center. Our mission is to provide Active Adults over the age of 50 with a place to come and interact with their fellow citizens. We offer a wide range of activities and support services. Check us out today!
Grant News!
THANK YOU CRYSTAL TRUST
We have received a grant from Crystal Trust to cover the cost of the new exercise equipment for our new exercise room. We also plan to have this room open at designated times in the evenings for our members that work. Stay tuned for more information once we are in the new building!
We have received a Grant from DHSS to cover additional programs at the Center around keeping seniors active. We will also be offering some evening classes for our seniors who work. We plan to take trips to the Lake Forest Pool, the bowling alley and a variety of other fun programming and all will be free of charge. More information will be in the February Newsletter. Watch for a survey from Survey Monkey to your email so we can obtain your input on dates and times for our evening programs.
